10 Binge Worthy Shows on Netflix

  1. Friends– Friends is that show that you’ve seen every episode of, but in a completely random order. In the past week, that it’s been on Netflix, I’ve burned through the first 3 seasons and am definitely obsessed.
  2. The Office– I have seen every episode of the office well over 5 times, and I never get tired of them. I’m literally watching season three as I write this post. If you don’t love the Office it’s hard for me to believe you have a sense of humor.

  1. Psych– Your classic crime comedy, I forced Nick into watching Psych and he was hooked in the first 10 minuets. Plus there is a youtube clip that is just a mash up of Shawn introducing Gus as different names to strangers, it’s hilarious.
  2. The League– For the person who loves football. I wasn’t sold after watching the pilot, but I gave the show a chance and I’m glad I did. It’s basically just a show about a group of friends who play fantasy football together, just get into all sorts of shenanigans. I also credit the league with getting me interested in football.
  3. Bojack Horseman– A new series that is a Netflix original. I really wanted to hate this show because it’s animated and very adult (language and drug use.) Personally, I have always believed that animated shows should be for kids, but Bojack Horsman is about a guy who was a sitcom star in the 90s and is desperately trying to become famous again. I just want to reiterate that it is not a kids show, but if you’re a big Will Arnett fan I would give it a shot.

  1. Gilmore Girls– One of the only shows on my list that can be considered both a comedy and somewhat of a drama. Obviously, I like it for it’s humor. Lorali is super sassy and always has a comeback. I can’t say I completely binged on this show, it’s more of a few episodes a week show, but I still believe it is binge worthy.
  2. Freaks and Geeks– How Freaks and Geeks only went one season is beyond me. It has some of the funniest men in television all before they were famous. It’s this great mix between cliché and completely relatable.
  3. Arrested Development– A show that got so popular after it was canceled that they did another 10 episodes. It’s a show about a family who lost everything and the one son who has to keep them all together. Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera all star in this hilarious show.
  4. Firefly– A Joss Wheaton/ Nathan Fillian masterpiece that only lasted one season. It’s a sifi show set in the future on a spaceship that is also a western! Bonus points, it has the most amazing theme song ever!

  1. How I Met Your Mother– I hesitated putting this on the list, because Nick and I both hated the ending more than anything , but every other episode is funny and it’s a show you can easily binge on.
